Optimizing Interprofessional Education for Healthcare Professionals.

An initiative of the African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth).

The OIPE-KNUST website is an interprofessional health education platform for health professions students and practitioners. Interprofessional health education is key to promoting high quality, safe and team-based health care where mutual respect, cooperation and shared accountability among practitioners ultimately advance the wellbeing of patients.

This platform seeks to promote interprofessional health education to ultimately improve health care delivery. Every information on this platform is carefully designed to improve your knowledge and skills and equip you to provide team-based, quality, and patient-centered healthcare. For ease of access, the information is packaged into modules.

The information for each course module is gleaned from an interprofessional team of health practitioners. As such irrespective of your background or training, you will find it worthwhile the time spent on this platform.

Welcome aboard, let’s learn together and share our experiences.
